This week our visitor came twice to lie quietly and chew it's cud, sheltered by the tree and we were being quiet so it must have seemed a safe spot. We gently looked and quietly took a couple of snaps then left her/him? in peace.
We've seen this youngster with their Mum quite often but now they seem to be independent.

My Blog List... Chatty
My Blog List interesting
from an old gravestone
If you hold your nose to the Grindstone
and you leave it there long enough,
Then soon you'll say
there's no such things
as brooks that babble
and birds that sing,
these three will all your world compose,
just you, the stone and your poor old nose.
(from memory so may not be word perfect)

How delightful. Melts my soppy heart to be honest...
ReplyDeleteIs he sheltering in your wood store? I hope you didn't come across him by surprise.
ReplyDeleteAJ wanted me to say that she really enjoyed the Warrior Cats that Blogger Kate recommended.
That's the kind of visitors I love to have. The only thing I don't love is that they've pruned quite a few fruit trees to death - and breakfasted on all our young pine trees.

Oh, oh, how wonderful. And so close, and trusting. You must give off good vibes!
