So just in case you'd like to look too...we took some photographs as we walked and looked and enjoyed.
There is Art from all ages from 5 to 18 (Grades K to 12) and we really enjoyed the selections.

Curiosity is one of the most permanent and certain characteristics of a vigorous intellect. Samuel Johnson
What an impressive display of talent. Your local community obviously appreciates the work done in your schools which must be very rewarding for the pupils and teachers.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely and very encouraging isn't it :0)
DeleteThis looks like a great exhibition. It's lovely that they include all the school years. (Admit I read it wrong and thought the oldest children were 12 and they must be beyond their years in terms of art ability!)Is the crow painted? It looks almost felted.
ReplyDeleteIt does look felted doesn't it..A fat raven I think...but it's smudgy black paint by (I think) a 7 year old. But he would be great felted wouldn't he?
DeleteLooking forward to seeing more! I can imagine how thrilling it must've been for those kids not only to have their art displayed in a museum, but to inspire other young, budding artists as well. I'm thrilled that my 3-year-old grand-daughter begs to be taken to "buseums." Exposure plants seeds.
ReplyDelete"Buseums" are Great aren't they ....:0)
DeleteWe enjoy visiting ours and you are right they are very inspiring...walking round the exhibit's makes your hands itch for a paint brush and pots of colour and quantities of paper :0)
