Yarn Along

Joining Ginny of "Small things" Blog on her Yarn Along

Letters from Father Christmas by JRR Tolkein is the enjoyable read aloud we have on the go at the moment.(It was a Christmas present from My Brother and his partner ...HUGE THANK YOU) The felt animals didn't get completed for Christmas but no one seems to mind. So now they are getting sweaters ..although the guesswork pattern has created a rather large sweater for the kitten and what looks on the needles like a too small sweater for the puppy ...guess I better start again! The advantages of knitting in miniature means starting again is not a trauma :0)

from an old gravestone

If you hold your nose to the Grindstone
and you leave it there long enough,
Then soon you'll say
there's no such things
as brooks that babble
and birds that sing,
these three will all your world compose,
just you, the stone and your poor old nose.

(from memory so may not be word perfect)
