Whose gate ?

OK perhaps we were pushing the timing a little but I thought we'd catch the bus...but No it was early/on time/very late?/we were late...... one of those reasons...

Never mind all we had to do was nip back through the gate and OH would give us a ride.

Except the rather nice large Moose cow thought it was the ideal spot for breakfast and perhaps Morning coffee too...possibly even lunch?

So it was the long route home and it was a bit nippy, this snap was snatched and isn't very good but irritating a Moose is not recommended!

Added an enlarged pic of the girl to give a better idea of size..the fence is about 6 foot 6inches.

  2. Good heavens! How tall are those creatures? Also--I'm curious--were you prevented from going in or going out? And, how long did your guest stay?

from an old gravestone

If you hold your nose to the Grindstone
and you leave it there long enough,
Then soon you'll say
there's no such things
as brooks that babble
and birds that sing,
these three will all your world compose,
just you, the stone and your poor old nose.

(from memory so may not be word perfect)
