An unexpected guest joined us on our camping trip.
She was living wild but definitely not feral.
After much research and 14 days of being fed by us at our campsite.
She has come home with us.
She was chipped but it appears her owners circumstances have changed and she needs a new home.
I think she rather likes it here .....what our crew will think may be another matter.
The humans have been won over the felines may take a long period of diplomacy to achieve detente.
Watch this space.
She is beautiful. What eyes. I bet she knows that she's landed on her paws.
ReplyDeleteShe has the sweetest disposition Cheryl..and when she purrs and kneads she likes to suck on a corner of a blanket!
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous. And very lucky. Hope introductions are not too troublesome.
ReplyDeleteWe are keeping her in the camper at the moment and the collie gets to visit and lie quietly while she 'ignores' him ..the cats keep sniffing us when we come in .... so we are taking it very gently 9fingers crossed)
DeleteSuch beautiful blue eyes. Very brave and kind of you to give her a home, multiple animal households can be a challenge!
ReplyDeleteDaft I think may be the adjective Lucy.... lol
DeleteAt the moment she is still in quarantine and living in the camper. (I try not to think of the challenge bit ..as I fear I know exactly what you mean)
Bless you for taking her in! She is a very lucky girl.
ReplyDeleteThank you Elisa, She is a lovely cat ..so far introductions have been limited to the dog and both cat and dog were very well behaved (actually the dog was excellent) fingers crossed the felines will be as tolerant (OK toes crossed too)
