It's wool felt ...I've used wool/mix felt also cheap non wool felt. I put a big piece of foam underneath and try and remember to move the felt every so often . It's very easy and rewarding and to be truthful I think leaving it just as fleece felted onto felt looks better than embellished ...but I like to play
If you hold your nose to the Grindstone and you leave it there long enough, Then soon you'll say there's no such things as brooks that babble and birds that sing, these three will all your world compose, just you, the stone and your poor old nose.
Who me? I'm just nosey. Your crow/raven caught my eye. Is that wool quilt batting you are felting onto? If so, I am totally stealing that idea.
