Does needle-felting count? I hope so.....
Still working on Three hares wall hanging and reading Village of Secrets.

Is that book fiction or non-fiction? I love anything written about that period in history! Happy crafting and reading!
ReplyDeleteIt's non-fiction and very full of detail. The density of information has made it not the easiest of reads and it definitely shows people at their worst and best. It is definitely. a book that is on the historically accurate retelling of a time in history rather than a simple exciting read. see here for a more articulate review :o)

I love your needle felting. The design is amazing!
ReplyDeleteI like the photo of your cats, too!
Thanks Pat, Now I'm puzzling what to do with the edges...that's the catch with making it up as you go along......hopefully inspiration will strike soon!
ReplyDeleteErasmus is the big tabby with his head on Kepler's (the Ginger and White's) tummy His Sister is snuggled up behind them :o)
The WW2 France book appeals to me too. I'll see if the county library catalogue has it.
ReplyDeleteTo be truthful I found it hard going Cath..but that well could be my fault not the book. I can wholeheartedly recommend these three "Nancy Wake" by Russell Braddon , "The Past is Myself" by Christabel Bielenberg and "War in Val d'Orca" by Iris Origo all Non Fiction WW2
Deletefor WW1 I seem to remember enjoying "The Escaping Club" by AJ Evans which I think is free on Gutenberg
Love those hares! Think I'll give the book a miss, though. I'm still gearing myself up to read Max Hastings' Catastrophe which was a Christmas present.
ReplyDeleteSome books do need you to be in the right mood don't they...the trouble with me is sometimes that mood never arrives....oh dear
