Go sledding of course....
And the Dog has to come too....
Good fun was had by all!
And then you walk home.....for an assignation with the Wood stove, Supper and a good book! (or Downton Abbey for the Grown ups ...bliss)
Curiosity is one of the most permanent and certain characteristics of a vigorous intellect. Samuel Johnson
Now that's what I call a fall of snow!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a record for snow so far this season Liz :0)
DeleteWe haven't seen a bit of snow here. Well, there was that small bit in October. Otherwise it's been more like spring...strange. I'm hoping it will stay that way till we fly out of here to NZ. Don't want to be snowed in. Fingers crossed. :)
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for you Jodi, have a Great Trip!
DeleteWow! that's a whole lot of snow. I'm guessing the novelty of making snowmen is wearing thin! We're still keeping our fingers crossed for a bit more snow. Just not that much!
ReplyDeleteActually Cheryl, crazy as it may sound, we rarely have the heavy wet snow that you can make snowmen with! This stuff is real fine, light dry powder that swirls and billows up into the air when the wind blows hard. It's squeaky to walk on when very cold. Totally beautiful to look at too :0)
DeleteYour heavy snowfall was even on the news here; and we never hear anything about Alaska.
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine how you live with all that snow.
We have a hot and sunny day today, my cats are keeping cool under fans.
As it's too cold to take the pup out to play and he's already "wall of deathing" off the sofa.... I think a bit of Sun and a big snow free field, would come in handy at the moment :0)
DeleteThe wood stove and good book bit sounds wonderful .... I might be tempted to fast forward over the sledding part !
ReplyDeleteIt was a bit cold really but it did result in tired Children..which is always good! (and then you get the chance to enjoy stove and book in peace :0) )
